Already purchased — why is it asking me to pay again?

If DoseAlert is asking you to pay even though you already bought it, you just need to tap Restore purchases.

What's happening

When DoseAlert is freshly installed, it doesn't know about any previous purchase. The one-time unlock is tied to your App Store or Google Play account, so DoseAlert has to check with the store to know you've already bought it.

Step 1 — Sign in with the right account

Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID (iPhone) or Google Play account (Android) that you used for the original purchase.

Step 2 — Tap Restore purchases

  1. Open DoseAlert.
  2. Go to Settings > Restore purchases.
  3. Wait a few seconds. DoseAlert asks the store whether you have a lifetime unlock. If you do, the app unlocks immediately.

Step 3 — If it says "No purchase found"

Family Sharing

A purchase normally restores only through the same Apple ID or Google Play account that bought it. Store family-sharing eligibility depends on the product's current store configuration, so do not rely on it unless the App Store or Google Play shows DoseAlert as shareable for your family.

Promo code

If you received a DoseAlert promo code, enter it in Settings > Redeem a code. The code is validated locally and can be redeemed once on that device.

Last resort

If none of the above works, email support@moosemediafsj.ca with your platform, the exact message DoseAlert shows, and the approximate purchase date. Do not send a password or full payment details. Apple and Google control the purchase record, but we can help you check the correct restore path.
